# Hum

> Hum is the availability, pricing, and activation layer for resident apps and multifamily operators. Residents search, compare, and order internet service without leaving the partner's product; the partner earns a referral commission on every activation. Hum is not an ISP. Hum also publishes address-level broadband research built from FCC Broadband Data Collection filings and runs a consumer plan finder.
